Howdy friends,
This was taken at the same time as NGC 7000 & NGC 1499 (nothing but
clouds since then).
This is a very big object....I used the .82 reducer on the 4"
refractor. The image is a combination of HA and LRGB data taken over
three different nights. The moon, of course, was in all of its
blazing glory, but the HA came out reasonably well.
medium sized image:

larger sized..approx 50% of full size:
http://tinyurl.com/b23bq (http://tinyurl.com/b23bq)
Telescope: Televue NP101 & .82 reducer
Camera: SXV-M25C and 10nm HA filter
Approx 90mins of LRGB from the one-shot and 4hours of HA.
Acquired in AstroArt and processed in Images Plus and PSCS2 using
Noels' AstroActions.
There is a tremendous amount of outer nebulosity in the area, but will
need many more hours to properly bring out......and again, nothing but
clouds. So, I will submit this with the hope of acquiring more
information in the future.
The HA information was added to the luminance channel at approx 80%.
This was done in the LAB color mode.
comments area always appreciated,
