TMB Thomas Back Supermonocentric eyepieces - SOLD
Sizes:
4mm - One available only - $ 250 cash - SOLD
8mm - One available only - $ 250 cash - WITHDRAWN
plus shipment via Australia Post as cost (to buyers account).
Brand new in original box.
These units were bought for a Binoview application that never went ahead.
Please Note - These units are no longer in production as TMB is no longer in existence and it's creator Thomas Back tragically died 18 months ago. They will never be available again as new product.
These units usually go for around US$ 250 2nd hand in the US market.
Ultra Premium quality German manufactured using ultra premium ingredients.
These units are Thomas Back's (Grand Master Optician) own version replicating the technology of Carl Zeiss Jena Monocentric eyepieces of the 1960's which are without peer and the rarest and highest value 2nd hand eyepieces in existence globally in history, the Zeiss Mono's usually go for around US$ 1,000 plus 2nd hand in Europe and the US. I can attest to these units performance and they are exquisite, but the TMB's units give them a frighteningly good run for their money.
I do not need these TMB's as I have one full set and do not need doubles.
These exceptional eyepieces suit a high end refractor or reflector for someone that KNOWS what quality is all about.
Thanks for looking.
