My effort at NGC 5139 last night.

12x5 min subs, NP101, 30D modified, autoguided via OAG and Orion Starshoot Autoguider and PHD, Mach1 GTO. Acquired and initial processing IP and then CS3.
With all the talk of now desiring less arc sec's per pixel, I used a Tamron 2x converter to give about 1.2"/pixel. Unfortunately it has put some blues and reds adjacent stars. Have now abandoned that idea. The air was getting misty toward the end.

Thanks for looking.

Neale.

Very nice Neale, The NP101/Mach1 must be a joyful combination to use! :)

The resolution of your image is great, the glob is resolved beautifully to the core and the image scale is impressive. I think it was a good idea to experiment with the teleconverter. I once used my Canon TE1.4x Extender on one of my scopes to zoom it in a little closer.. It performed rather well, although I had the same problem, It did introduce a little bit of blue/red fringing on some objects (namely, the moon)
