Another Moon

Another moon :)
Taken couple nights ago, three images of varying exposures and stacked in DSS, tweaked in CS4. Taken with Canon 450D and ED80 prime focus.
Frustrating night with the cloud and lazy me just setup the scope on my camera tripod...not that steady :lol:

Wow! The colour in the second pic is spot on - nice one! It looks great - worth the frustration.

Colour on the first one looks right for moonrise, the second does look more natural.

Can anyone explain the different colours in the mare. I assume it is different types of rock but what are they?
