Hi All. I have a Meade 6.3 focal reducer and sx h9c imager what distance do I need between them, is it T2 rings I need, O/D of thread is 41.7mm on a 30mm long one i have, all help appreciated. :thanx: peter:help:

From memory the required distance from last element of FR to chip is about 105 mm. What scope are you using it in?

Hi Paul. RCX400 10", so I will need 75mm, 2 x 30mm and 1 x 15mm, are the rings I need called T2, peter

If you were using a DSLR then all you would need would be a T adapter (https://www.bintelshop.com.au/Product.aspx?ID=5439), but using the SX you will be a bit short so you will need to work out an extension tube to go on it. If you use one of these https://www.bintelshop.com.au/Product.aspx?ID=7182 the silver barrel can be unscrewed and the FR screwed in there and then you just need a single extension tube to cover the distance. A couple of options anyway

HI Paul. A bit confused here my 41.7mm is not 42mm or do they just call it 42mm, because fin pitch of 0.5mm? thread it will nearly fall out of 42mm. peter
