Hi Guys
Another small neb, 23 arcs secs in diameter, taken in a modified reverse Hubble NB pallet Ha;Ha:OIII;SII (in a vain attempt to get roughly the same colour as a hubble pic :P)
Detail is woefull, but I got the AO8 going at 3hz which helped a bit.
I must say, now that I know where the AOGer is pointing, Im starting to agree with Alex that OAG isnt that hard with good set up and a bit of practice :D.
Exposures were Ha 3nm 2.5hrs 10 off 15min subs bin1, OIII 30min 3 off 10min subs bin2 and SII 40min 4 off 10min subs bin2. Heavily cropped.
Also on my site (http://fredsastro.googlepages.com/) at a slightly higher res.
There are many more Planetary nebs, but the rest are even smaller and dimmer unforch.

My goodness, talk about extreme imaging.
That is insane.
You should be well chuffed.

Hey Fred,
That is so cool, it is hard to tell if it is going butterfly or elliptical.

Great to see these targets imaged who would have thought this was in reach of amateurs and actually reveal detail
...love it

Thanks Guys, its nice to do something that doesnt take stupid hrs :P.
Here is a straight Hubble pallete version, but I dont think the colour looks as nice.
I think I would have much more detail with AO at 15hz and dark skies, but thats a bit hard to get.

Thats really good work Fred... The HST pallet image is very 'technicolour' :) Its amazing to see detail (if a little blurry) within the neb...

Phwoar!!! Great effort, some difficult imaging done there. :)
Gutsy effort Fred. Can't determine whether I like the first or second rendition. Aperture is your answer to greater detail I suspect, but nothing like pushing your gear to the brink to see what its capable of. Well done.

Cooking Fred...
Extreme imaging...
Nice to see these tiny little planetaries up front and personal.
Looks as though the AO and ME are working together a treat.
Look forward to more!

:eyepop: Very cool. Checked out the hubble shot. You're not far behind! Actually miles ahead considering the gear used and your altitude. ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks Tom, Ric..... Mike :)
Easy Tom, thanks, but detail could be measured in inches :P
Thanks Ric
Mike, yeah well, thumbnails are easier to post :D. Sure dont need flats for this, a donut wouldve obliterate it, and vignetting........well hehe, thats so far from a problem its funny. Im tempted to try a 5*barlow :D
