Hey Hey guys,

Just signed up to iceinspace- just thought I'd say hi. The forums look gr8. Hope to become a regular user. I've got an LX90 Meade telescope- an absolutley amazing scope (well I think it is). I became interested in Astronomy when my dad bought a small newtonian reflector. A pretty basic scope, but had fantastic optics. Unfortunately, I dont think I have been practising the hobby enough- which is a shame. But I'm determined to spark that interest again.

cheers:drink:

Hi Tux, how did you hear about us?

Where abouts in Sydney are you?

You should:
a) Enter the xmas quiz
b) Book for the IceInSpace AstroCamp (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/?iisac) and have a great time with other IIS'ers.

Tuxedo (tux) is our middleware platform at work :)

Hi Tux:gday: :welcome: :hi:

LX90 sounds good to me:2thumbs:

A few of the guys here are a little cracked :D and a few of us are a little stir crazy with the lack of clear sky at the moment, :cloudy: :nerd:
but we all love astronomy and just love to talk about it. Some of us tend to over use smileys.:party2:

I look forward to your contributions

Cheers

Welcome Tux,

Nice scope dude and I hope you get stuck into this awesome hobby, but be careful it's even more addictive than you think.

Jeez how many replies?!!!

First off (iceman), I heard about iceinspace from the sky and space mag.
Secondly, I live in Ryde, Sydney, an thirdly (h0ughy) I am running Windows XP- although a am a bit of a try hard linux geek. I want PClinuxOS. U heard of it??

Anyways, thanx 4 the replies. The weather here in Sydney is REALLY annoying. Cloud, then rain, then sunshine, then cloud etc. Probably due 2 global warming. Cant get my scope out!!!

Cheers:drink:
