Hi all

I was given an early Bday present Paint Shop Pro - lots to learn. One thing I have wanted to do is to blend solar disc (active regions) and solar limb (prominences).
Well after a few hours I have been able to do it (lots of practice still required).
The attached image is not true (disc was taken in December and limb in February) but they were the only ones that 'fit' - I have taken only a few prominence shots.
Somehow I have the prominence inverted compared to the disc - I have some work to do!
Now I am looking forward to blending a real scene.
Any comments and feedback will be appreciated regarding the use of PSP.

Thanks

Hi Matt

Well done thats it! Sorry not working off my own PC but as far as I remember its image - invert to invert the image. So make your inv prom mage active then do image - invert. can confirm this for you tomorrow (UT).

I love PSP.
I usually use it as well as CS3 for my processing.

Wey Hey!!

Now try a curves layer to mess around with the brighteness. Bottom of curve dark tones - top of curve light tones

Thanks again Dave - my own tutor!

I have attached another older image that has been coloured - I am on my laptop and it is difficult to 'see'.

I will play some more a little later.
