Went to Toowoomba yesterday and while we were there I had a little spare time I had a look in the National Geographic shop they had a few nice looking scopes (put my wish list order in).
Anyway I found a glass prism on the shelf and on the spur of the moment I bought it (it was only $9) Now what do I do with it? I can only look at so many spectra displays from the sun. Anyone attached one to their scopes was it successful?

do you really want to get a scope from NG Adrian? I've seen the scopes they have there and there's possibly only one I'd think about getting and then I'd get it somewhere else to get it much cheaper. But maybe they only overprice them overhere on the coast :)

No I don't want to get a scope from them they are definately overpriced by at least 300 on the one I was looking at and the celestron filter/eyepiece kit was at least 200 more than one of the advertisers on this forum. The only reason I went in was my wife needed to find a book on java for her studies and NG was 100 meters away.

Oh.. no... they are over priced from one end of the country to the other. In Tassie, by a factor of 2-4 depending on how badly you want to get ripped off...:D
