Unfortunately I don't have the reference, as it was on ABC radio. The editor of a well known science mag produced a theory:
Jupitor or the other gas giants may have a carbon rich core. Under all that gravitational pressure its very likely to contain huge diamonds. :D
The host commented, "The aliens must have huge engagement rings". :lol::lol:
What the future holds is interesting. Are Earthlings to oneday mine the planets? Is a Neptune diamond bigger and brighter? :lol:
