its here - my new lens (http://www.sigmaphoto.com/shop/10mm-f28-ex-dc-hsm-fisheye-sigma). i am really looking forward to using this one. by the way i tested it on my crash test Dummy - Scott Alder ;)

i stood near the front of the car about 2 foot away from it and managed to get the whole thing in........:D with Scott i was only a few centimeters away from him LOL

Yeah, gotta love a fish, they're a lot of fun, they give a real carnival effect. I've got the Canon 15mm f2.8 fish, it's my favourite lens. It's worth shooting close at maximum aperture, the DOF is surprisingly shallow despite the F/L.

i focussed on the streetlight to the left of centre, iso 100, f2.8 on the 30D. ok the new gear brought the cloud......

Nice! I guess you'd get some mad wide fields when used at night :)

Get closer Dave! About 1cm off the nose makes some great shots!;) Or a forehead shot is often a good laugh too! I love messing about with a fisheye.

Should do some excellent startrails too.

Not yet, but I intend to. Here's one I took in the front yard @ f2.8, you can see the DOF is still shallow enough for good effect.
