Hi folks!

On Tuesday we had some hours of clear sky. I had to hurry....

Please apologize my bad english, but I have to tell you how hard it was to get this pic.

To reach my observation place I have to go uphill a macadam road. It is very icy now. And so I slipped into a little ditch .
Clear sky, my equipement in my car and it was impossible to reach my observation place.
I lost one hour till I could manage it to get free. But my nerves were very strained.
Misfortune seldom comes single. Calibrating the polar finder was jinxed. It took so much time. Maybe because I was not really relaxed.
Okay, but finally I could finish it. After a long time I could make the first 15min pic. Checking it I had to realize, that there was no memory card in the slot.

Okay, I had to stay cool now. NOW MORE THAN EVER!!!

I went home for the card, this took 20 mins.
And then I started all over again. At least I got 2 hours of clear sky and 8 pics until the clouds overcasted the sky.

I hope I wrote it understandable. But it was an incredible story and I wanted to tell it to you. And so this IC 443 is a very special one for me.

Thanks for your nice comments!

Now I can`t wait for spring and summer. Nights will be short but more comfortable - and no ice on the streets. ;)

Thanks!

In the wintertime we have almost always bad weather and fog! So I hope that the summer will bring better conditions.
