Wow. Those new prices are pretty good. You'd be hard-pressed to find cheaper new in Aus. Good find. Bookmarked that site. :)

I would read that website's "Terms & Conditions" very carefully; they seem to bind you to an agreement yet claim that they are NOT offering any product for sale or service!!

Furthermore the prices are not inclusive of GST (why?) and they are not GST-registered; though what the implications with the ATO are for us local purchasers buying without paying GST I am unsure of!

I would be wary of making a purchase from them but that's just me!

I am not recommending this site I just used them on this listing as a reference, my point was I am not interested in buying a second hand lens for more then what I can buy it new off a site or even ebay.

And not to recommend this site as I have never used them.

So, you'd add 10% GST to the prices listed on that site?

The prices seemed awfully cheap compared to D-D Photographics who were known for their very competitive prices, too.

I might have a 17-40mm f/4L USM on sale in order to upgrade to the 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM. If you'd like to see what the 17-40mm lens is capable of doing, just have a browse through all the images I've posted in the terrestrial imaging section.
