Next time... just watching Mars from my balcony. Saturn might be visible in another 3 hours or so (I have a very limited view of the sky here).

Think I'll go flying early in the morning instead.

Werrington was very good while the ISS went over (a great pass, very bright and high in the sky) but by 10pm is was 10/10 cloud.

Oh well.

Unfortunately couldn't make it due to other commitments, but was able to get the scope out for about an hour before the clouds came.

By around 11:30 when we packed up out at Glenhaven the dew was running off my DSLR, and the corrector on the C8 was white.

What was really amazing was that PHD has not given up guiding, and light was still reaching the QHY8.
