Managed to get some data before cloud rolled in again in Melbourne.

Canon 5DH, Canon 300mm F2.8L at f/3.5 with 86mm diameter aperture in front of lens, Hutech LPR filter.

Exposures 20x30s, 20x60s and 10x120s at 1600 ISO. New fridge at -5C.

There is slight CA on brighter stars near the corners but it is a small price to pay for very fast almost perfect optics over the majority of the wide field.

Nice job Bert

Most people can't make out the "Running Chicken" in this nebula as it is only noticable in a very wide field, like this. Your shot shows it pretty clearly - it is a chicken with its wings half extended, standing rather erect (as running chickens tend to do) running from right to left, its head is the top bit of red nebulosty and it is jutting forward just like they do when a chicken is running..see it? It really is just like its name suggests.
