Hi guys,

It was quite windy this night and as such never got to attach a camera to the scope so i used it for this time lapse, started at 1am and went through to dawn when we packed up.

original video is 2.4gb in HD (1:38 seconds worth!) but I have posted another one here:

for your viewing pleasure :)

cheers,
Grahame.

Yeah it was a very nice night when you discount the wind. In the Vid you might see the camera rock about halfway through - due to a rather large gust :)

Awsome video Grahame

I've been wanting to do the same but haven't got to it yet, so great to see it done.

Funny how it looks like the telescopes "arc off" on the heads of you guy's walking through - due to the headtorch trails.

Got a good meteor in there too... what f-stop and ISO were you at to be able to capture that so brightly?

Thanks Roger, I counted 12 meteors in the full version so far too :)
was using the Tamron lens @ 17mm and F2.8, 20second shots and ISO 1600 i think...

Brilliant Vid, Bakers Hill was on the same night, not good for you but no winds, I'd say the Northam terrain kept the wind away.
