Hi All,
Here's another one that's eluded me because I have a two hour window in which to get the pictures.
Completed over three nights.
120 mins Ha, 30 mins each colour.
Usual setup.
Cheers

Striking detail Stuart but the colour is not my cuppa though. Different colouring could make this a fantastic image. Just my opinion though. Which constellation is this located?

Nice detail Stuart. This is a hard one to capture being so low.

Top job Stuart - The jellyfish is one of the truly overlooked targets I think... Not many people image it, and it has a hell of a lot of potential for making a really interesting shot...

A top shot and lot of data in there Stuart just needs a bit of work to balance the colours IMO

Stuart,
The histogram is severely clipped.
There is a wealth of detail that can be extracted.
Here is an example using the shadow/highlights command in Photoshop.
Hope you don't mind.

Hi All,
Thanks for the comments.
Yep, I really needed to redo this one. I processed it late last night, and it looked OK then, I promise.
Here's a redo. A couple of notes though.
There is a significant Ha background in the whole area, it makes it hard to set the black point without the image looking noisy. It's also why most of the stars look red.
There is an artifact from the guide star in the centre of the image (the blue flash). I don't really want to remove it as I like it.
The clipped black point is sometimes an artifact of the light pollution removal tool I use, in this case use to remove reflections from street lighting (yes, it's a low target for me), but I didn't check. This one is better, but it'll still look that way.
Cheers
Stuart
