Happy Valentine's Day to the Sun!

Well it is fitting, I am in love with the Sun.

Here is today's image of AR 1046 and AR1045 turning the westrn limb.
AR 1046 has been bursting with solar flares - recently produced the brightest one in several years!

I also tried to capture a prominence - I have not been too successful with these but it looked good through the scope - located on the eastern limb - north is up.
