Hey mate, :welcome: to IceInSpace.

Don't forget to check out the Clubs and Societies listings (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/clublistings.html) on the IceInSpace main site.

It has a list of most Melbourne clubs, as far as I'm aware.

Cheers

I am a member of both the ASV and MPAS.

ASV, Astronomical Society of Victoria, meet on the second Wednesday of the month at the Herbarium near the Shrine at 8pm. Largest astronomical society in the southern hemisphere. www.asv.org.au (http://www.asv.org.au)

MPAS, Mornington Peninsula Astronomical Society, meet on the third Wednesday of the month at the Peninsula School at 8pm. We have public viewing night on the last Friday of the month at our dark site at The Briars in Mornington. www.mpas.asn.au (http://www.mpas.asn.au)

Hope to see you there some time, let me know if you are going to a meeting and I will try to catch you.
