It looks like Melbourne will get it as well. I have never been to Imax but I sure want to see this one.

A worthy tribute to Hubble!
:eyepop: hey that looks cool :)
And narrated by Leonardo Decaprio too
Thanks for the heads-up and will definitely be going to Darling Harbour
to see this one!
The flight depicted I gather is the one where Megan McArthur was a crew member.
Border Stargaze was lucky enough to have McArthur come to Albury/Wodonga
last year and I know Petra (aka Spacezebra) was ecstatic just to have her
sit in the passenger seat of her car and drive her to the event. I commented to
Petra that her passenger seat would be a conversation piece whenever anyone sat
in it in the future. All Petra has to say is "Do you know you are now sitting in the same
seat that a NASA astronaut once sat?" :) Thankfully Petra has resisted trying
to simulate high G-force take-off's at the traffic lights to enhance the experience as well!

You should also see the IMAX moon one, narrated by Tom Hanks. Even with my one eye, I still got good effects, just not like alot of you with 2 eyes.

Damn. Looks like I won't see this in Perth. May have to make the trip to Melbourne or Sydney to view it, unless the SciTech - Horizon Plantetarium exhibits it. Alas, it won't be in 3D :(

That's not the real IMAX. Hoyts EQ IMAX is utilised at Carousel. Hoyts EQ IMAX is 273 square metres, compared to Darling Harbour's real IMAX @ a whopping 1015 square metres.
