View Full Version here: : Horsey.
Did a quick HH last week that i forgot to process and frankly didn't want to post because of weird artifacts.
But watched at 1024x767 it isn't too bad.
Also a pic of Alnitak with GSC4771 taken from this pic.
LRGB all 5x5 Minutes.

Nice framing and star control! The close up shows adjacent stars!
Thank you Paul, Alnitak is a pain in the backside to keep under control and is the only star to give me grieve with a reflection.

Nice one Martin. The little trails are hot pixels that weren't removed during the data rejection. I assume you've used CCD Stack? Try to enter a value rather than a percentage if you do a sigma reject... or you can paint them manually. They're easy to spot when you flick through the subs.

Excellent Martin !
Thank you Marc.
Aligning and stacking was done with maxim dl.
Must have a look where i can set the hot pixel removal and do a reprocess.
Thank you Steven :)
Thank you David
Nice image Martin, you can also get rid of those hot pixels by using median combine when stacking.
Clear skies Ken.
Thank you Ken :) and also for the tip.
Plenty to try out now .
