View Full Version here: : Reprocessed Eta Carinae taken with the QHY9.
This is a reprocess after reading loads of tutorials :screwy::confused2:
The colors look a lot better and i think this is my best Eta to date.

Pwoah!! :)
Awesome work mate! The keyhole has a stunning 3D look to it, and the processing looks brilliant.
You've really nailed it this time around Martin, Definitely one to be proud of..
Looking forward to your upcoming pics! :)
Thank you Trevor, getting the processing of mono images slowly in my head :)
Thanks mate :)
There are some imperfections in the picture, like the alignment of the stars and the star colors but then again i am very happy with the detail the QHY9 shows (beats the dslr :P ).
And i did not use darks and flats.

MUCH,Much, much better Martin. Very nice start to your RGB imaging career.
How did you get enough sky to image this. Been awful here just good for my termite infestation. Hot , humid and cloudy.
Thank you Doug :)
The weather was excellent here (transparency and seeing).
At night it was even cold and i had to put on more clothes.

It's hard to believe that all that was in your first post. You've really nailed that! Makes my envious!
Tutorials hey! What a difference a week makes. Look forward to seeing more of your work.
This one would be great framed and possibly presented to your other half who lets you get such great toys!
Darren
Thank you Troy :)
I am very happy with it and when i look back it beats most of my eta dslr images.
Thank you Darren
I first have to learn a bit more and then i can frame it :)
My other half is a keeper :lol:
