wurzel here, just received 2in single beam collimator from howie +2in blug.very impressed, nice looking .well made.have not been able to do any observing yet, we have been plagu:Ded on east coast of nz by low cloud for past 6weeks!!! i think its from aussie ,you can have it back now,we have finished with it.back to collimator,i set up scope in garage, it took less than 5mins to collimate, nice tight fit in focuser, no wobble as in 1.25 adapters.the 635 nm coll are ok for day light use, while 650nm for twighlit.time will tell, how this performs re battery life/fading.bye for now wurzel.

Oi, keep the clouds to yourself! NZ isn't "the land of the Long White Cloud" for nothing! So many of you here in Bondi, it's now spreading to us!

Man, I dig laser collimators too! So quick and easy.

Hi Paul welcome to the Howie Glatter club.
I reckon shes a pearler of a collimator and as you say she sure is a breeze to use .......If any one else is thinking of these and you own a reflector you need the Tublug adapter also.
Cheers Kev.
