Hi All,

I've followed the link.seen the video, but where does it say it was taken with a G-Star?

Duncan and Al,

No problem, guys!

Duncan, I think Jeanette was just saying that it could be done with a GStar, not that this particular one was.

AHHH! So sorry Nettie. I thought i had missed something. The G-Star would be an interesting experiment with a 35 or 50mm lens attached though.
HHHMMMM! food for thought.!!!!

Cheers:thumbsup:

I've got some nice little cctv lenses that I use with the Gstar that would do the job well.

I saw that video about 3 months ago - I thought I found it on wikipedia Lightning page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightning) but I can't see it there now.

My kids and I watched it over and over again for 5-10 minutes.

They were blown away by it (so was I!).

Probly one of the cameramen at a one dayer cricket match during a break for rain. Decided to aim the super slomo at the heavens.

Whoever it was .. they've got a fantastic reward.

Oooo. Aaaah!
Love shots like that.
I remember seeing a docco some years ago were they discovered the main "punch" from lightning actually comes 'up' from the ground.
Really cool! Thanks for posting it.
