Nothing to critique here. Absolutely marvelous work, Martin.

Congratulations.

I would love to own an FSQ-106. It simply never ceases to floor.

Looks fantastic Martin as usual
What are these two lines going straight down from the two bright stars in the left?

Fantastic Martin. The only thing that would add to the image is colour.

Thanks for the view.

Beautiful image Martin, I wondered about the lines also, I originally thought they were satellite trails but they seem to emanate from the bright stars.

Detail on the 3 MB version is fantastic. As usual.

Thanks everyone

a lot of this data in this image was taken with the CCDSOFT beta-driver for the STX which had a bug whereby the camera shutter was left open during downloads, causing these vertical streaks on the brighter stars.

I was hoping that the median combine would get rid of them, but it didnt.

cheers

Thank you very much!

It was a bit noisy, I know, and it had some defects in from a buggy driver, and as I will not be adding colour, I wanted to move on to other things.

the FOV is pretty good though!
cheers
