Beautiful work David,

I have not spent much time on this forum for a while and what a pleasure it is to be become reacquainted with your most excellent bird images. What a lovely little guy this one is and he seems to be posing very nicely.

Regards
Trevor

thanks trvor and adam. beel birds tend to hang around the tops of trees as thats were most of thier food is... occasionally they come down and hide in dark shaddy thick bushes. this was a lucky shot

Well, you've got to be pleased with that! Could be on the cover of a book. Well done, David.

(Now tell the truth. Did you kill it and have it stuffed? :P)

Cheers,

Brian.

I love the sound of these birds but am yet to get a shot at one. Have just had whip birds move in to the trees next to the house as well but am yet to see them.

Am on the hunt.

Good composition David. Central quite often works better than rule-of-thirds for wildlife. I bet he didn't hang around long in the one spot either did he?

Excellent capture David.
Well done indeed.
Did you take that was with the Bigma?

Can't wait to try my hand at some more bird shots.
