hi everyone:hi:,
It was quite cloudy but then i started seeing some gaps in the clouds so took out the 130mm reflector and 25mm plosoll and took a shot of the moon.
Any tips on how to improve this image will be greatly appreciated.
I also had a look at mars and saw the NPC it was cool:D.
Hope you like it

Nice start to Moon imaging there.
If you have a photo editing program, you could make it a little more sharp , and you may like to play around with the brightness and contrast a little to see what detail improves with the setting changes.
You have done well though. I like imaging the moon with my little 114 mm refelctor as well.
Kepp it up, it is very satisfying to get heaps of Moon images to keep.:)

Hi again.
I hope you dont mind me playing with your image.
But I just had a play with it for a minute and changed a few setings to show you what can be done very easily with an image editing program.
contrast and brightness and sharpness and slight colour reducing only were adjusted.
Cheers.
keep 'em coming.

Was going to process it but Geoff beat me to it! :)
Download Gimp and do what Geoff mentioned to your images.
Geoff pulled out some re-markable detail. I would have assumed not that much was in it.
Nice work by the way Geoff, that's a great rendition.
