This was for fun mostly while waiting for Mars to rise. I need to work on my technique obviously (or buy a camera with a bigger FOV) but this was the first time I tried photographing the whole Moon with my tiny DMK. It's at f5 and it took about 12 minutes to cover. I think if a little more experience up front will save a lot of processing time later. Can you tell how much of the Moon my camera covers :)?

Hi Dave,

In "Introduction to Digital Astrophotography" by Robert Reeves he comments on the field of view using a ToUcam Pro II, I believe it has the same size chip as the DMK 21AU04.

Reeves says that the field of view with this CCD at prime focus is the equivalent of a 4 mm eyepiece.

Hope that helps.

Trevor
