People radically underestimate this source of energy. Perhaps because its been hyped for so long.
But modern engineering, materials and computational power might well bring it in our (people over 40!)lifetimes.
To achieve functioning fusion-power reactors might well be considered the greatest single event in human history. It will mean essentially limitless, relatively clean superpower. Our daily commute could be done for pennies worth of leccy, and no more sulphur to foul the air.
Then fossil fuels could be used for really important things like 350kph sports cars, motorcycles and jet-packs.
I have a dream.......
