As I have decided to go to a mono camera, I have for sale my QHY8 kit, including Drivers/Software CD, AC adapter, Desiccant Heater and adapter to space out an MPCC, etc. This setup is only 5&1/2 months old and is still under warranty.
The unit performs flawlessly, however is without the UV/IR glass in the snout. I will arrange for Theo to send you one.
I have spoken to Theo about the camera and the warranty, so as mentioned, you are covered in the event of a problem.
I can provide images taken with this camera, including raw lights, bias and flats. I don't use or need dark frames, however, I can set it up and take one if you want.
If you are in SA, you are welcome to come over one night and see the camera in action.
I am asking $1800 or very near offer, plus postage, which I will cap at $20. If it costs a bit more, I will cover it(regular Registered post only, express post will be all your cost).
