I need something to do to kill the daylight hours while I wait for the stars to come out & play. So like a fool I decided to have a go at RENOVATING.

The bathroom in our 70 year old farm house needed a challange so, here are my before I started, Crapping myself for what have just done & the almost finished project pics. All that maths we learnt at school does have a purpose..

It's not as hard as you think & overchaging Tradesmen you are on notice. I'm completely self taught & my wife now growls when other females come snooping around. I'm a protected species!!

God, I love Bunnings.. :P

Wow, as one who has done much renovating, I can say you have done a terrific job. I wouldn't want to deny the humble tradesman an honest living, but it is way nicer to stand back and look at your own handiwork. A big well done from me

Good job.

Even the pros don't get it right. Noone noticed one wall of our bathroom reno wasn't quite vertical until the mirror arrived. It's about 3mm out of true in 1500mm.

But there's no way I would have wanted to attempt the job. Every waste line had to be rerouted - in a concrete slab floor. Shower screen mounts had to be made because the perfectly designed one was out of stock and the new design would not work.
