Finally have some clear sky last night. Mars was low (at about 35 degree and won't get any higher)and small (even with 5x powermate). Seeing above average(just).I know there aren't much detail but stll happy considering....I guess

Great for a first attempt, Vincent. It's recognisable at least :)

Hi Vincent,
There is certainly great satisfaction in the first successful attempt at any target and that is as it should be.
Your image is better than my first attempt at Mars. You now have the starting point for you with Mars, now onward and upward.
Mars is a bright target so try for a lot more frames, the more frames you stack the more you will smooth out the noise. Don't be afraid to use heaps of gain to give you a reasonable frame rate.
You have not given details of the capture but I would think with the ToUcam you could at least go 3 min's at 15 fps, be guided by your histogram for the exposure.

Good first go Vinc!
I have found it real hard to get a good Mars this year, lots of poor seeing..
Keep at it!

Much better than my first attempts Vincent.
Get out and keep trying and I think you might end up with some classy shots
