Hi All,
A small galaxy in the constellation Lepus.
Usual equipment (8"RC, SBig stuff).
LRGB 100, 30, 30, 30 minutes in either 10 or 5 minute subs.
Cropped to get rid of some reflections from something bright just out of the field and the effects of a meridian flip halfway through.
Larger version available at the website.
Cheers

Good galaxy detail. The whole image looks "brownish" on my screen and the colour is a bit washed out, but it is still a good shot.:)

You need to calibrate your monitor. I just checked it on my uncalibrated PC monitor in the observatory, it has that red tinge to it as well.
Now going inside to get the Spyder..

Monitor is calibrated, and Ive never seen a Spyder make much difference to colour, just brightness, no matter how it is adjusted. Everyone elses images look ok, as do my colour presentations to them, in general.
One of those things, I guess.:)

Yeah, and I can't find the software that came with the Spyder to install it on the PC in the shed anyway!
Probably the difference between a Mac and a PC. I know my monitor is good as I do colour reproduction work on it, so I'm not going to change my monitor settings.
How's this one?
There's something about colour reproduction in web-browsers that I should pull up and have a look at again, something to do with ICC colour profiles, anyone?
Cheers
