EQ5 mount

Any views on this mounts capability for astrophotography (DSLR) - am considering motorising it. Have read it weighs 11 kg but how much weight can it carry in terms of an optical tube? :thanx:

EQ5 should be motorised already??
It is capable of carrying 15kg or so (not counting counterweights).

I am using EQ3 with 200mm lens and DSLR quite successfully (up to 30 sec with no guiding), so EQ5 should be more than better :-)

i have read / heard other say anout 6-7.5kg is max for photography
