Not a constellation I have looked at to often , I guess virgo steals a bit of its thunder , I spent an hour or so lookong over the dozen or so galaxies on offer , revisiting m 64 a few times as its such an impressive
object, The tight and compact Ngc 4494 also got a second look .

Finished the morning with some globs around scorpious
Not a cloud to be seen dusk till dawn:thumbsup:

Hello Graham, sounds like you had a great session. I know when I observe I usually concentrate on one constellation, 2 at the most and have a good look.

You must have a good northerly horizon, the house blocks off most of the northern sky here. I can see a bit further north than the bottom of Orion, but that's about it.
