Anything special going on at tonights meeting???
its the last one for the year. we will be having Bishop Chris Toohey writes for sky and space mag, lectures at uni on astronomy coming in. not sure what he will be talking bout tho. they'll talk about the various viewing nights that have happened, umm... we have regular articles in the local newspaper... I really dont know beyond that. tea n' coffee... more talks?

Do the club have anything to do with the two astrodomes at the campus? I helped to assemble them a few years ago.astroron
I realised my error but havent fixed it... Chris has an observatory out at parkes or sumfin... not sure. it was a great talk he did tho :)
the local rotary club (and/or the uni) owns them i think but i am not really sure... our club does help out with observing nights there tho i believe.
