Hi all
Today after golf I quickly set up to image the AR 1041 - like Stuart I first thought 'why bother', then I realized I was looking at something else!
When I found AR 1041 I was quite impressed - it has been on a long journey and is still a good sight!
Usual set up, Solarmax 40, 2.5 Powermate and DMK31 imager processed in Registax5.
The Sun was quite low but a 40mm scope is quite forgiving.
The first image is the region from 1 January (1039) and the second image is from today (1041).
One question - how do we really know it is the same region making a return?
