Lars,
That is a wonderful image. The arms extend a long way and the star birthing regions are really pronounced.
Processing looks very nice indeed.
Top job.

Now THAT! is impressive!
Did you have some frame misalignment? you have a horizontal line through the star at the bottom of the field.

All subs were dithered (+- 3.5 pixels). The line is from the deconvolution I ran in CCDStack, I didn't clip the image

I'd be happy with that, Lars!

Lovely image Lars, This to me is the pick of the bunch. Youve been missing for a while but seem now, to be back with a vengence.
Great stuff, can't wait to see some longer exposures.

Great stuff Lars! ....
Nice to see the ST8XME being put to good use.
(Meanwhile I'm sitting in the observatorry getting a big Tpoint model done)

Brilliant - let me know how it goes. I'm doing 1744 tonight - almost sounds rude
The ST8 XME seems to be the perfect combo for my RCOS - the 6303E was/is an amazing camera but it needs plenty of patience, something you have in spades (I dont )
Let me know how the model goes
