Just a quick 30 second snap but I quite like it :)

Rare I take a photo of the gear, don't usually get around to it, too busy getting the gar to work! :)

30 sec @ 1600 ISO with 7D.

Pic shows Losmandy GM8 with WO 90mm + WO 80mm set up immediately in front of LX200 on the pier.

PS, terrestial ? deep space? equipment? ... I chose this forum but who knows :shrug:

Good to see a pic of the gear against the stars! Looks like they are right on top of one another. Don`t slew too quick!

Good idea Houghy, I think I might do that :)



They are pretty close .. to optimise how much of the sky I can see with the Losmandy :) There's a good 1" clearance no matter where they swing and just enough space for me to walk around the Losmandy tripod :)



Killa alright, kills my enthusiasm for astronomy every time none of it works :lol:

I love these type of images.

There's always something about them that inspires you to get out there and fire up the scope.
