It's time to sell my beloved Takahashi Teegul SP-II. It has been primarily used as a camera mount. This unit does NOT come with a tripod, so you'll need to furnish your own - with a plate to bolt the mount to set to your required latitude. For sale is just what is in the case. Camera/lens, phone, tripod, Foxtel remote and Tak scope as shown in photos not included.

The paint on the bottom of the RA section is slightly scratched where the polar scope clamps on, and is normal for this type of mount. It in no way affects performance.

As an ultra-portable camera and lens mount goes, this unit is pretty-much unbeatable. If all you want is to place a DSLR camera and lens system weighing up to 3kg on an EQ mount that tracks so well that you can expose for 3-4 minutes at a time with no guiding, then this is it. Once polar drift aligned, it's fantastic. On a set of batteries it will go for several nights, drawing less than 300mA. The case it's in is the size of a small briefcase - beautifully light and simple to carry with you anywhere. These were typically bundled with an FS60-C, so whatever small scope you have it will work extremely well. It will carry a small scope and DSLR and as such is PERFECT for a solar or lunar eclipse trip somewhere on a plane.... :)
