Any Cairns people??

Have been contacted by a guy from Cairns wanting someone to give an Astronomy talk at Port Douglas, and to show some sights through the scope.
It is a paid job :thumbsup:
Its a bit too far for us Townsvillians, though have asked a few .... prob 5 hrs to Port Douglas. Much easier for a Cairns local to do it.
Also, most of us Townsvillians are scardycats at giving talks, am sure Cairns people are much more confident and capable ;)
They really need someone, so please have a think about it.

Yes, it was you Sarah .... I thought you may have gained a lot of knowledge, and felt OK to give a little talk, and show some sights through a scope!! Worth a try :)
I still havent any takers ... odds on the weather at that time will be wet anyway. ;)

Hmmm well I just happened to email the local guy who runs the astro group here this afternoon. Havent heard back from him but I bet he would know someone suitable. Or maybe the people who own the telescope shop in town, Sun Coast Optical......I'll pm you their details :)
