I've started playing around with photography again after a long hiatus.
So I'm starting again with the digital era.

There was a lot of cloud blocking the sunrise so I thought I would focus
on the shoreline. Anyways here are some 4 second exposures taken on
the 07/01/10 at Shelley Beach.

Canon 450D IS 18-55 lens with circ polarisation filter.

thanks for looking.

Very nice Rob.

The first 2 would be even better with a bit more contrast in the sky.

They turned out great.

What camera and lens are you using?

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your comments.

I'm used a Canon 450D with a EF-S18-55mm IS, set at 18mm. Yeah the
first two do look a bit too over exposed. That has more to do with my
experience, and the process I took. Maybe in these situations I need to
set the exposure on the sky and horizon and then recompose to include
the shoreline.

Thanks for looking.
