Hi All,

Full moon is so difficult to image, unfortunately I used wxAstro Capture which didn't allow me to manually control the exposure no matter how much I tried. My previous work was done with Amcap.

I found a very unusal occurance while view the AVI on this one, I noticed smaller craters moving inside larger crater while the larger crater remained still so the AVI looked totally weird and most probably why it was difficult to align it with Registax.

Thanks for that.

Scope - 12" Collapsable DOB un-tracked, just let the moon travel across the field of view.
Webcam VAgent V5 Mogg Adaptor 640 x 480 but have gone higher- Prime Focus.
6 Passes, 1600 frames AVI per pass.
IMerge mosaic - 10 to 15 images per pass
Registax
GIMP'ed
Registax again.
GIMP'ed again.

Lovely result!
Lot's of work by the sound of it.
Re. wxAstro Capture. I guess you are already aware, but just in case your'e not the Auto Exposure functions need to be unchecked.
Whoops! I just realized that the screen you will see will vary according to the driver being used, and may not look the same, or even have the same controls :P I am not familiar with your camera, but most seem to have Auto Exposure as an option

Thanks I noticed it but was grayed out, unable to control any functions for the program at all.

Probably compatability issue with the webcam driver.
