Hi all,

We just wanted to display our latest efforts imaging Jupiter, this is our fourth attempt, a long way from a shaky hand over an eyepiece.

We have some residual blue/red tinge remaining even after a blocking filter, so I can only assume that more effort will need to be displayed on our part to remove the remaining colour..... However..... In the mean time how do we remove this tinge post processing??????

Advice as usual will be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Perhaps this edit of mine is not quite right:question:
But thr RGB align function in Registax does this.
PS it's pretty painless one you have done it a couple of times.
BTW Forgot to say that I thought this was a great shot for this stage of Jupiter's apparition

Nice detailed image of Jupiter for this time of the year Trent and Julie. May be the first Jupiter for 2010 on IIS.

It's far better than the Mars image I got last night.

Nice sharp detail, especially with Jupiter so low in the night sky. Great job.

Thanks heaps for that tip, I shall have a play with he RGB align function in the near future,

Jupiter was hard to get, However, this one night before Moon rise, with everything being set up in time coupled with near perfect seeing and an ok polar alignment we managed to get a few minutes of data.... We wish We had got more data now.......

Thanks to everyone for their encouragement,

Cheers
