View Full Version here: : Mooloolabah memories
It seems a long time ago, but I shot this early one morning when on hols up the north coast. This was before the monsoon set in - I'm not sure I had ever seen the coast so dry and there was lots of dust and smoke in the air - particularly visible at sunrise and sunset.
I'm not usually an early riser, but my 2yr old son decided 5am was a good time to be up on this morning...
(pardon me being lazy and not resizing properly)
Pretty colours and setting Rob
Its a shame thats its soooo hard to get up that early, as is the best time of the day ;)

Lovely soft colours, nice image.
I know what you mean Liz - you always think its so nice to enjoy the world without 90% of the population running around. Then my nightowl habits kick in again....
Thanks Rob - I'd like to pretend it was skill, but in reality this was one of 50 other efforts at different settings. Educational though! ;)
Was such a nice morning I was sure I could get a few keepers...
Thanks Mike :)
Most appreciated...

Love the graduation in the shades of pink to the right of image. Great shot!
Thanks Mitchell.
I'm enjoying learning more about terrestrial photography with my 450D when time allows. I really didn't want to mod it and lose half the dial options though.
