Followed this creek, to where it met another larger one. I had to climb through about 30m, of thick scrub to get to the point, I thought it was worth it though.

Short exposure, hand held (no way I could have got my tripod through the scrub, I only just squeezed through it).

Nice shots Mitchell. The first one seems to be slightly out of focus? I prefer the composition of the second one but the highlights are too bright. Would be much nicer in late afternoon or early morning light when it's not so bright.

You can then use a longer exposure to get more movement in the water too.

First was hand held, so no chance of a longer exposure.
It was actually late afternoon, sections of the stream were very dark with only portions being brightly illuminated by the sun just before it set. Was a difficult area to shoot in giving to darkness I was standing in, if I had dropped the exposure it would have been a black foreground...

Thanks for your advice, might head abck there and try again. :)
