Well my wife(Wanda) has done it to me again ,we had all our kids and grandkids over for the traditional exchanging of gifts on Christmas morning and when my turn came along Iwas thrilled to receive a Howie Glatter laser collimator I was tickled pink then when all the presents had been handed out and everyone is admiring their gifts Wanda comes outwith another box addressed to me I opened it and almost had a heart attack inside was a complete Argo Navis for my Lightbridge .So to Wanda you are and always will be my true treasure Thank you

cheers

Yes I truly am very very fortunate, as it was Wanda who truly got me involved in astronomy with her first gift of a 60mm tasco refractor for christmas2005 followed a year later with the Lightbridge although she dosen't share the passion she encourages it and for that Iam extremely grateful she is truly an inspiration to me and everyone involved with her
heck I was over the moon with the Howie I am still in shock.
I would also like to thank Garry at wildcard for his advise to wanda and the courteous service shown to Wanda

cheers

It is a bit like that Manny, :) the girls don't like the cold much, :eyepop: my dear Alice is no different, she loves the end result, but wont go outside in minus 2. :screwy: :screwy:

Her electric Blanket is more important

Leon

On top of all the great things Carron buys me so she can play with them , I scored a 16mm Nagler!
Still and all its her hand-made stuff I like the most. Considering her uber-high powered, 70 hour a week job, and her massive, sharp as a knife brain, its the little things that SHE makes that are always the gifts I treasure most.
Merry Christmas to everyone and their partners. The world just wouldn't be the same without them.

Yeah Leon I can appreciate Alice not venturing out in minus 2 but in Wanda's case its the mozzies midgies spiders etc. and it's only black & white. So thank you to you and all the other iis imagers for sharing your magnificent colour images with our spouses and of course us mere observers in black & white:rofl::rofl:

best wishes

So that's where all this rain came from..

Wives are like mining. You have to dig through a fair amount of raw ore (usually) until you strike it rich and find gold. When you do, you hang onto it and keep it safe and in a special place!
