Trying out the Focal reducer with the Celestron Neximage CCD. This allowed me to take the full pic in about 19 slices. Rookie mistake I didn't overlap in one spot perfectly so I have a fault that ruins an otherwise nice picture. (still better luck/skill next-time!) C9.25, Neximage+reducer, lightly processed in registrax (200-250 frames per pic), Software adjust to contrast/brightness (next time i might try a filter) and then CS4 with a touch of the Topaz filter.
Seasons greets to all Have a happy Xmas.

Thanks for the encouragement guys, It"s still damm annoying all the time to process and take the pics and then you assemble it and there's that gap :mad2:
Ill be checkimg it twice in future (just like Santa's list :D).

Hey Paul, it is not a gap - it is the lunar monolith!

Thanks Matt i had several suggestions that this was Tycho Magnetic Anomaly One, or TMA-1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tycho_Magnetic_Anomaly_TMA-1).
