Hi all...
RGB data added to the Ha stuff posted already.
10x10mins RGB, f5.6 iso800, Hutech LPS2 filter

Used the Ha data as the Red Channel in the RGB - it has on overcooked quality that I quite like (pre-empting criticism!!)
But I do love the abundance of data that this area affords!

Quite impressive doug! The colour looks a little too red, but that is to be expected when using Ha as a pure red channel. I love the contrast and the bold look of the nebulae.. Fantastic to be sure!

Have you tried a Ha (R+Ha)GB combine? That should give you more natural colour, although it would lower the super contrasty appearance that you have now..

Really really nice image mate! Well done indeed!

Ps - Lovely FOV.

Cheers Alex - Yes, tried the Ha/RGB blend for the red channel but just loved the boldness and drama of the Ha as Red only version!!
WTF let's have some fun with this stuff!!!:P

Grabbed another 130mins of RGB data last night which I'll try to incorporate with the existing stuff - hopefully it'll be nice n' smooth!
Going for OIII tonight, weather permitting

Looking pretty good Doug, the nebulae are looking a tad bit red for my taste, but I am sure with the addition of the OIII this will temper this a little.

Lovely looking wide field though.

Fine work Doug

The delineation between stars in the main bar of the galaxy and the extensive nebula is great. The FOV is awesome too, looks like a two panel mozaic would get most of the LMC in too.

Very nice Doug. You seem to have the NB imaging under control now. Time to get back into a telescope?
