There are only a couple of things I miss having on this forum...

1. Ability to jump directly from one forum to another without having to go through the top-level. i.e. I'd like to have a drop-down list of the forums so I could jump straight from "solar system" to "general chat" etc.

2. Ability to see recent posts across all the forums so I can see what's going on over the whole site. Other system , e.g. CloudyNights, let you do this in the search facility if you leave some fields blank...

Good suggestions Bird, but they are both available :)

1. Go to the "Forum Jump" dropdown at the bottom of each page.

2. Go to "New Posts" in the top Nav Bar or "Today's Posts" under the Quick Links, both provide what you're after!

Thanks!

Could always use 'Firefox'. :D L.

Oh, at the *bottom* of the page... I didn't think to look there, did I now... sigh.

Raja - I've been a Firefox/Mozilla/Thunderbird user exclusively for as long as they've been available, I switched away from Netscape when it started to drop a bit behind in features :-)

Okay, now that I've found these items and used them for a couple of days, I'm back with another comment :P

It would be nice to have the "forum jump" at the top along with the other toolbar items. I see that "new posts" is also available inside the quick links item, so maybe it could be removed and a "forum jump" entry added there instead?
